Fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Department of Biology
An endowment established in 2016 in the MIT Department of Biology, Alan D. Grossman, Ph.D. Praecis Professor and Department Head to promote research activities for students involved in biology, related computer science and molecular biology representing the future of the department. Areas of interest in the department include cancer biology, neurobiology, microbiology, structural biology, and plant biology for undergraduate entering class in 2017 that includes approximately 30-35 students and about 150 undergraduate students in these disciplines.
A letter from Dr. Grossman stated: ” Please note how grateful I am for your help in enhancing the student experience and maintaining our culture of excellence in research and training in modern fundamental biology.”
